Tasks / Aufgaben
T--V S--D Global Risk Consultants (GRC) is the leading unbundled property loss control provider worldwide, offering services such as Fire Protection Engineering, Boiler & Machinery Engineering, Infrared Thermographic Surveys, Jurisdictional Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspections, Natural Hazards Analysis, Diversified Services, and Loss Control Training. GRC has over 60 years of experience providing innovative solutions to help clients achieve and maintain high protection standards.
General Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate property and business interruption exposures based on NFPA Standards and other relevant standards.
  
• Develop loss estimates before and after implementing recommendations.
  
• Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
  
• Report and assess building construction, occupancy, hazards, and natural risks.
  
• Develop loss scenarios such as Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
  
• Provide training and peer reviews for other consultants; serve as a technical resource.
  
• Assist in proposal development, service instruction, client feedback, and stewardship reports.
  
• Interact with upper management, including risk and financial managers, requiring professional conduct and excellent communication skills.
  
• Manage projects, including site visits, plan reviews, and client presentations.
  
• Maintain work records in the database.
  
  Functional Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client and internal communications.
    
  • Perform fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan reviews.
    
  • Adjust workload as necessary.
    
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and traverse catwalks is required.
    
  • Travel up to 50%, including potential overseas assignments.
    
    Qualifications / Qualifikationen:
    
    • 
      
    • Four-year college degree, preferably in engineering.
      
    • Certifications such as PE, CFPS, or working toward these are preferred.
      
    • 3-5 years of consulting experience in fire and property loss control.
      
    • Ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions based on standards.
      
    • Clear communication skills in reports, emails, and presentations.
      
    • Ability to manage own workload and demonstrate technical expertise.
      
    • Computer literacy.
