regional custom research analysts. In this pivotal role, you will
collaborate closely with clients, guiding them to develop and
implement tailored voting guidelines that align seamlessly with

cutting-edge proprietary software and harnessing the collective
global expertise of our analysts, you will deliver unparalleled
value by furnishing clients with meticulously crafted proxy vote
recommendations and the underlying rationales, all meticulously
aligned with their unique voting principles.By staying attuned to
emerging trends and pivotal issues and capturing heightened
attention within the investment community, you will keep our
clients informed and empowered. Our commitment to client
partnership goes beyond recommendation generation, as we
collaborate closely to craft bespoke reports and a suite of
analytics, optimizing their corporate governance programs to their
maximum potential.The Senior Custom Research Analyst is also a
pivotal agent of research and insight, delving into emerging
topics, conducting rigorous statistical and trend analyses, and
spearheading various high-impact projects at the behest of our
esteemed clients.Responsibilities:
- Champion compliance and refine operating procedures for Custom
Research.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, advising on global
corporate governance trends and guidelines.
- Develop and lead the regional team's expertise, driving
growth.
- Shape and contribute to cross-departmental projects.
- Craft compelling, client-specific voting recommendations.
- Analyze proposals for shareholder meetings through a tailored
lens.
- Utilize in-depth research to understand shareholder and
governance intricacies.
- Complete diverse client-specific projects on governance trends
and data.
- Support teammates on policy and project intricacies.
- Illuminate seasonal reviews and client consultations.
- Engage with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Provide expertise on research analyses, policies, and
votes.
- Evolve ISS policies and identify enhancement
opportunities.
- Collaborate with ISS Technology and support teams for optimal
applications.What We Need from You:
- Bachelor's degree or higher required
- 5 years+ relevant work experience preferred in business,
corporate social and environmental issues, or related fields
- Strong analytical abilities, superior judgement, and content
with ambiguity
- Outstanding client service ethic, relationship-building skills,
intellectual curiosity, and dedication to mastering complex
concepts
- Good understanding of business technology, experience working
with technology in an operational context, and excellent knowledge
of MS Office
- Can formulate, support, and communicate a position on an
issue
- Work within a team-oriented environment and support team's
professional growth
- Effective time management skills, attention to detail,
dedicated work ethic, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a
high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Possible extended hours and weekends during peak periods
