Job Description:

Jr. to Mid-Level Operations Center Specialist We are looking for an individual with junior to mid-level experience to support our Technology Operations Center. This position presents an excellent opportunity supporting development and operations teams that are working with Client's on-premise applications as well as Client's cutting edge activities with AWS and other cloud service proiders. Candidates must demonstrate they have the skills and experience to grow into this position over a 2 - 3 month period. Following are the requirements for the position:

• Maintain application, infrastructure and system health awareness using monitoring tools.
• Perform troubleshooting of system, network, and application related issues.
• Enter/update trouble tickets into CRM and JIRA tracking systems.
• Escalate problems to support and application teams based on severity.
• Escalate problems to management based on severity to provide summary.
• Initiate and manage video conference lines for infrastructure and application outages or events.
• Engage Vendors for hardware and software issues.
• Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong understanding of standards and procedures related to incident management, problem management and Change management.
• Strong communication skills as this position interfaces with many teams within Client.
• Past experience in an operations role (Systems Admin, Help Desk support, NOC or DevOps) a plus.
• Experience supporting applications hosted in AWS or other cloud service providers desired.
• Work closely with the internal Help Desk supporting and managing end user challenges.
• This position supports a 24x7 operations center. The individual supporting this role will be in a shift rotation.
