We are currently looking for an experienced Scientific Policy Analyst.
Position Description:
Overall Position Summary and Objectives Under this task order, the contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.


Minimum Education Master's

STATEMENT OF WORK DETAILS

-- Collaborate with the Office of Strategic Planning, Legislation and Scientific Policy (OSPLSP) and other NIMHD staff on strategic planning, implementation and monitoring, scientific reporting, and policy development.
-- Contribute to scientific activities for assessing minority health and health disparities research, including coding NIMHD's funded research, and reviewing and coding biomedical and behavioral interventions for inclusion in a publicly accessed database.
-- Synthesize information, write, and edit scientific documents and prepare PowerPoint presentations for multiple audiences to include scientists, policymakers, and the lay public.
-- Write scientific narratives in response to congressional questions and requested reports, policy analysis and concept development management.
-- Attend meetings, present results, and findings to staff for discussion.
