Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Systems, Aerospace, or
Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Systems Coordination
team. Our team supports the US and UK TRIDENT Submarine Strategic
Weapon System (SWS) and US Attack Weapon System (AWS) programs.The
position is responsible for managing Data Requirement submissions
and requests from contractors in support of Strategic Systems
Programs (SSP) customer. This includes supporting the Data
Requirement requests from an early stage, supporting contractor
resolution, and full implementation into SSP documentation
artifacts. The position will support the Data Requirements SWS
community and working groups to help with process improvement
efforts involving Data exchanges. A limited amount of travel to
off-site locations could be required.As a decades long sole source
partner on multiple contracts on behalf of our customer, our
program has remarkable stability and is concurrently experiencing

talented individuals on our team.The Systems Engineer (with Data
Requirements focus) will be responsible for:
Coordinating a variety of government
and contractor's data requirements in BAE Systems coordination
artifacts.Evaluating change requests against data requirement
interfaces.Processing Proposed Notice of Changes (PNOC) against
coordination artifacts to update with contractor supplied data
requirements.Regular communication with government contractor
stakeholders to drive PNOCs to completion.Processing and/or
reviewing changes to cabling data interfaces.Responsible for
processing cabling documentation contract deliverables twice per
year.Participate in efforts that innovate data requirements
exchanges between government and contractor
stakeholders.Participate and present at Data Requirements meetings
and workshop meetings consisting of government stakeholders,
contractor stakeholders, and Strategic Systems Programs
customer.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education:Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience; Master's
Degree and 2 years of experience Technical Knowledge and
proficiency:
- Experience with MS office applications and adobe.
- Demonstrated experience in both understanding/meeting
deliverable deadlines and programmatic milestones.
- High attention to detail.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset to resolve higher
priority issues.
- Organizational and time management skills, to be able to
process various changes at once.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.Communication:
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, to be able
to communicate with management, technical leads, and external
stakeholders.
- Ability to speak confidently to customer and large groups of
stakeholders, both virtually and in-person.Professionalism:
Excellent interpersonal skills used
when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with colleagues,
auditors, customers and vendors.Understanding of project managerial
relationships and operations.Ability to exercise discretion,
independent judgment, and make sound decisions while complying with
policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable state
and federal laws and regulations.Maintain the strict
confidentiality of sensitive information.Preferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Experience with the US/UK Strategic Weapon System and US Attack
Weapon System programs.
- Experience with Windchill/PLM tools.
- Experience evaluating change requests, preparing change
notices, and resolving comments/feeback to change notices.
- Experience presenting to customer stakeholders.
- Experience with the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System
(DOORS)Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $92290 -
$156860Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
