Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an MBSE Systems Engineer
to develop system modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions
throughout the organization, and to perform engineering analysis
and provide results to inform strategic decisions for operations.
The Engineer will focus on the design, development, and integration
of M&S products for the program. The Engineer will work on a
wide variety of challenges to develop solutions for all aspect of
the current business.Specific Tasks:--- Develop and maintain system
modeling practices and methodologies.--- Design and develop system
models. Prepare/validate data, perform and validate the modeling
and analysis, effectively communicate findings, and provide
actionable recommendations.--- Collaborate with Leadership to
oversee identification of M&S efforts and provide input to help
design, monitor, and improve new and existing systems using
M&S.--- Support the development of overarching M&S and MBSE
Strategy.--- Evaluate risks and needs impacting future M&S
development and integration work. --- Manage projects to produce
and update models/simulations on time.--- Stay current with
industry trends and incorporate industry best practices into
modeling methodologies as appropriate.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in engineering,
computer science, or other related technical field 5 years of
experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering in a
government consulting environmentDirect experience in Systems
Engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities utilizing modeling
tools such as CameoSelf-starter who can work with minimal
supervision, navigate at the expert level with System Modeling
tools, and are familiar with developing Use Cases, Activity Models,
and other SYSML models.Experience applying modeling to support a
system's or SoS' requirements, design, analysis, verification, and
validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle
phasesExperience Implementing a model-based culture, leveraging
capabilities of the digital enterprise environment infrastructure
of the organizationProven experience in delivering large-scale DoD
systems engineering projectsIn-depth understanding of systems
engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best
practicesPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering,
mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another
related engineering or computer science disciplineProficiency in
systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis
toolsExperience utilizing model data support to enable the creation
of a digital thread across other engineering disciplines (e.g.,
cyber and safety).Knowledge/Experience supporting Navy SSP

$115779 - $196825Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
