Job Description:
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Patient
Access ED Registrar who will embrace our mission to extend God's
care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual
healing. As a Patient Access ED Registrar, you will: ---Support the
Emergency Department and Labor and Delivery patients by obtaining
the financial information pertinent to reimbursement and
statistical data. ---Ensure daily operations of the department.
---Demonstrate Superior Customer Service. ---Registrar Patients in
accordance with department procedures and collect patient
responsibility. ---Ensure compliance with insurance regulations
---Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity. ---Ensure customer
satisfaction. Qualifications include: ---High School Graduate or
equivalent. ---6 months to 1-year previous hospital or doctor's
office experience preferred. ---Requires excellent interpersonal
and communication skills. ---Ability to work in high volume, fast
paced environment. ---Basic knowledge of office equipment and PC
skills. Work Schedule: Schedule: Week 1: Thursday: 2:30pm-11pm
Saturday: 7pm-11pm Week 2: Sunday: 7p-11pm Tuesday: 2:30pm-11pm
