Shady Grove Medical CenterAdventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced CT Technologist for our Radiology Department who will embrace our mission to extend Gods care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.As a CT Technologist, you will: Perform CT examinations in accordance with the protocols established by the radiologists. Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT-scanner and all ancillary equipment within CT department Assist radiologist and other staff in interventional procedures. Understand principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes symptoms of IV contrast reactionsQualified candidates will posses: High school or GED Graduate of a two-year AMA / JCERT Accredited School of Radiography ARRT registered (RT) ARRT Advanced Certification Exam in CT preferred.
