Job Description:
Location: Montgomery County, Maryland, this suburb of
Washington, D.C. has excellent housing, schooling and entertainment
options all less than 30 minutes from downtown Washington, with
access to Baltimore in less than an hour as well. Facility: One of
the areas top health systems has a free standing
inpatient/outpatient center providing treatment for children,
adolescents, adults and geriatric adults whose acute mental
illnesses require immediate stabilization. Their facility offers a
highly-skilled, multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social
workers, case managers, psychiatric nurses, expressive therapists
and chaplains who provide compassionate behavioral health care.
Opportunity: Seeking a Psychiatrist comfortable treating Child and
Adolescent patients in a PHP setting. Patients are primarily
Adolescent PHP, but other settings and age groups may need to be
seen per volume. This is an employed, permanent full time opening,
but part time schedules are also available. The schedule is Monday
- Friday with no weekends and call need is very infrequent.
Compensation: Compensation includes a salary plus a bonus/incentive
program with extra income potential. Full benefits (health, dental,
vision), CME, 401k, 29 days of PTO, malpractice insurance and
commencement package are all available.
