Job Description:

A-TEK is seeking a Senior Systems Architect experienced in delivering cloud based, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions, and architectures for our federal customer. You will support engineering teams in the design, development, and delivery of mission-critical applications for our federal client. The Senior Systems Architect has a demonstrated ability to deliver complex software applications and architect fresh solutions in response to business needs. The Systems Architect consults with Program leadership on multiple projects to resolve difficult data and development challenges while transforming solutions into high-quality products that deliver high customer impact.The Senior Systems Architect works closely with Program Management Teams and new business divisions to formulate solution strategies, roadmaps, delivery, and execution plans. As the Senior Systems Architect, you will lead one or more teams on large projects or significant segments of large and complex projects overseeing solutions where you will oversee all aspects of the development. The Senior Systems Architect will perform some hands-on development activity and contribute to development and institutionalization of new principles and concepts; while providing support applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for systems development, delivery, and production activities. In addition, the Senior Systems Architect will assist and mentor development teams to manage client expectations, build and communicate realistic plans, continuously improve, deliver, and support appropriate security controls.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or related discipline and 12+ years of solutions architect experience; 20+ years of solutions architect experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online architecture and development.Demonstrated experience working on Agile projects as an ArchitectDesign architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.Experience as a solutions architect must include full scale software development and delivery of software projects Demonstrated experience in analyzing and consulting solution(s) for SharePoint and how the solution(s) align within the FDA's infrastructure Expert in Software Engineering and System Architecture principlesAbility to interface with clients and stakeholders, then translating requirements into actionable itemsProduct minded and focused on building high-quality, intuitive productsDemonstrated experience supporting development teams in custom application development supporting complex operational and business system application developmentExperience in environment setup and maintenanceExperience in Architecting large scale/complex systemsExperience collaborating with designers and other developers to take a project from concept to deliveryAbility to obtain Public Trust ClearanceA-TEK, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
