Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing…As a Business Development Associate, you will learn key skills and techniques needed to develop strong sales and marketing strategies driving new business opportunities and sales growth. In this role you are the first impression of August Schell. You will cultivate strong working relationships with our customers, vendors, and partners to establish valuable connections and deliver new opportunities.

  • Increase sales and market share through focused prospecting.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and customers.
  • Strategize and develop targeted sales campaigns to generate sales leads and new business.
  • Create tailored phone scripts and campaign content.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to execute campaign delivery and advertisement.
  • Track, organize and manage leads generated from your BD activities.You will need…
    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
    • Passion for learning how to succeed in technology sales.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Be deadline driven and ability to produce high-quality work within short timelines.
    • Excellent people and customer service skills.
    • Excellent communications skills (English), both written and oral.
    • An assertive self-starter who flourishes in a competitive environment.

    • Ability to travel to and attend sales events.As a plus…
      • Experience in federal or software sales.
      • Understanding of federal acquisition and contracting processes.
      • Background in technology.
