Summarized Purpose: The Client's Early Molecular Biology and Serum
Serology group in Pre-clinical Research & Development is looking
for a motivated scientist with tissue culture and molecular biology
background to join the team. The candidate must have a sterile
tissue culture experience and ability to critically read and review
literature and present their analysis to a diverse audience.
Essential Functions: Working in a highly collaborative environment,
the successful candidate will: Implement tissue culture protocols
for a range of applications Work both independently and as a member
of cross-functional teams Critically analyze scientific literature
and write reviews Problem solves with assistance pertaining to
extraction and/or instrumentation problems. Performs work
assignments accurately, and in a timely and safe manner. PPD

degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational
qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge,
skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 1+ year) or
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience In
some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of
appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience,
will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the
requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Have at
least 3-6 months of research experience in sterile tissue culture
Must be detail oriented; possess problem solving skills, and the
ability work with matrixed leadership Must possess EXCELLENT
interpersonal and communication skills and able to collaborate in a
cross-functional environment Ability to respectfully interact in
person and electronically with colleagues and collaborators from a
variety of cultures and organizations Ability to utilize Microsoft
Excel and Word to perform tasks Good written and oral communication
skills Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a
