Job Description:

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for the sales and public relations of TSP and CIGC. The Business Development Associate is the primary sales and marketing person responsible for building relationships between physicians' offices and TSP and CIGC to increase the number of patients referred to our facilities for treatment and care. The Business Development Associate is the representative for TSP and CIGC and bridges the communication gap between referring doctors and specialty physicians. - Essential Duties and Responsibilities - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Increase patient referrals through marketing the care, services, and state-of-the-art surgical centers Surveying primary and specialty physicians to increase the number of patient referrals to the organization Meeting with physicians to promote our facility's services Build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals to increase patient referrals Helping doctors to build and maintain relationships with specialists and surgeons to refer patients with confidence Organize and grow physician referrals and connecting our facilities with the local healthcare community Meeting with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments, and thanking them for existing referrals Facilitate networking and communication between physicians and outside referral sources Reporting on your progress in building referrals and managing practitioner relationships Collaborate with Marketing to arrange and lead public relations campaigns and awareness efforts Organize and attend a variety of meetings to grow referrals and strengthen relationships Increasing high revenue procedures and surgeries Provide feedback from referral sources and market trends Identify, implement, and evaluate innovative strategies to recruit and retain staff, with an emphasis on physicians, clinical, and hard-to-fill vacancies Utilization of ISC for surgery as a utilizer or for syndication Develop and maintain networking systems/databases and build professional relationships on local, state, and national levels Proactively identify potential issues based on expert knowledge in the field Referral of patients to CIGC for surgery Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:Minimum Qualifications Required - An associate's or bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field Highly professional in appearance, tone, and delivery and an effective communicator General medical knowledge, especially related to our facility's services, treatment offerings, and equipment Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines Strong follow-through and results tracking to achieve measurable targets Sales/marketing specific background or education with a focus on consultative selling Strong customer service skills, customer service drove, positive attitude The ability to interact with, support, and influence positively the behavior and activities of referring physicians, attorneys, industry partners, superiors, and staff/co-employees - Desired Qualifications Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical sales preferred but not required Ability to work independently and ability to collaborate and work effectively in partnership with others Strong customer service and relationship management orientation Ability to simultaneously manage multiple searches and projects Dedicated and self-motivated with superior attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure; Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and adapt to frequent priority changes based on the needs of the business Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internal and external Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to the next level Capable of working within established policies, procedures, and practices prescribed by the organization Demonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
