Rock Creek Foundation is seeking to recruit a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support its Mental Health Programs located in Maryland. This position is an integral part of the organization, working as part of the administrative team. We are seeking someone who enjoys multi-tasking, has a high attention to detail, and can operate well in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

Position scope might include answering phones, data entry, filing, reviewing and compiling clinical documentation for QA/compliance, maintaining staffing schedules and contact information, auditing files, entering billing, handling program inquiries, and coordinating meetings.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

AA in a Human Services or related field of study; OR one (1) year related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent customer service skills with an ability to assist internal, as well as external customers, in a fast-paced, demanding, and diverse environment.

Demonstratable knowledge of and sensitivity to the cultural characteristics of the clients served.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors level education preferred.

3+ years previous administrative experience.

Experience with the mental health, social services, or healthcare fields.

Salary Range: $14.00-$15.00 per hour.
