Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Behavioral
Health Supervisor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care
through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As the Emergency Services Supervisor, you will:
* Work within the Needs Assessment Department which provides
both psychiatric and addiction (i.e., alcohol and drug abuse)
assessments in our Emergency Departments at Shady Grove, White Oak,
Fort Washington Medical Center, and Doctor's Community Hospital, as
well as liaison services for medical patients. * Act as a
consultant to physicians by providing crisis intervention and
psychiatric/addiction assessments. * Help to place patients in the
least restrictive treatment setting, to offer stabilization and
then a carefully designed appropriate treatment plan and referral.
* Be responsible for program oversight and clinical supervision of
the department. * Assist with program development, data capture and
analysis, and billing.
* Current Maryland LCSW-C or LCPC is required * Masters degree
in Social Services field * 2 years minimum of supervisory
experience preferred * Ability to provided professional supervision
* Approved Clinical Supervisor, required
