Title: -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Deskside Services Tech III Location: -- -- -- -- Rockville, Maryland Clearance: -- -- --You must be able to obtain & maintain an NRC Suitability; An Active clearance a plus -- -- A Deskside Services Tech III--opportunity in Rockville, MD, is available with Belcan. This position is a full-time direct position with benefits. -- Essential Skills & Responsibilities -- You will be providing Escalation Support to Tier I & Tier II team members, as well as providing troubleshooting & deskside support to federal & contract employees in a Windows-based environment. You will be working in an environment that requires strong communication skills, focusing on customers & exceeding in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision. -- Requirements & Experience -- --Required Skills: -- Candidate will have at least Five-or-more years of experience in a Windows environment provisioning (imaging, configuring, installing software), deploying, & troubleshooting. Proficient troubleshooting skills & the ability to resolve issues efficiently & effectively while minimizing the downtime to end users. Professionally & effectively communicate with a dynamic customer base, in a high Paced, Headquarters-focused environment. Supporting PC's/Desktop/Laptop users & resolving any issues with Microsoft, Adobe, Word, Office, PowerPoint or any other deployed software. Identify, troubleshoot, & resolve any hardware, software or other technical issues. You are skilled at resolving problems through customer education, training & direct assistance. You are adept at providing phone & in-person support to users for various systems, including e-mail, user account administration, active directory, standard desktop images & applications. Serving as the point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, & printer problems. --Education: --You will possess a Bachelor's degree, plus 5 years of relevant experience. -- Desired Skills:-- IT Certs, such as: A+, Net+, Sec+, MTA, MCSA, or MCSE. ITIL v3 Foundations Cert -- --Clearance: You must be able to obtain & maintain an NRC Suitability; Active clearance is a huge plus. -- -- Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
