emotional health of young children and their families through
prevention, early intervention, education, research and training.
The Lourie Center has four core programs serving children birth
through age 12 and their families: Head Start, The Lourie Center
School, The Therapeutic Nursery Program and Parent-Child Clinical
The Lourie Center seeks to hire an experienced Clinical
Psychologist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care
through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As the Clinical Psychologist you will:
•Provide direct clinical services including psychological and
diagnostic evaluations for children ages birth to twelve with
suspected psychological problems or developmental delays.
•Provide psychotherapeutic treatment to children and their
families including individual play therapy, parent collateral work,
family therapy, couples therapy and group therapy.
•Consult with other professionals working with the client both
at the Lourie Center and with outside of the agencies, to assure
coordinated and comprehensive service delivery.
•Clinical Psychologist License in State of Maryland
•PHD or PsyD in psychology
•Active American Heart Association BLS CPR card
•5+ years of experience in the field.
