of Cyber Security Services
Location(s): Rockville, MD
The Director of Cyber Security Services is responsible for
providing leadership, vision and managerial oversight in the
development and implementation of Dataprise’s Cyber Security
strategy. As a dynamic leader, you will be empowered to define best
practices, policies and processes that enable Dataprise and its
customers to establish consistent, effective cyber security
practices and work to minimize risks. You will work to establish
short- and long-range business plans to grow the practice as well
as work to achieve the security vision in accordance with
Dataprise’s overall strategic plan. This position has the potential
growth path to the C-suite as our first ever CISO if strong
performance and growth projections are met.
Oversee daily cyber security activities for a fast-growing IT
Services organization, managing risk at an appropriate level and
ensuring effective response to incidents while optimizing secure
data access and utilization.
Provide day-to-day management and guidance to the Cyber Security
team consisting of vCISO's and SOC Analysts facilitating a
high-performing and highly productive team.
Manage the Cyber Security team to proactively analyze and
directly respond to internal and external threats to system
security including, unauthorized access, vulnerability assessments,
record attempts; minimizes/mitigates risk to information and
systems in a 24X7 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
Develop and maintain the Information Security service offerings
from business facing to technical delivery, including the delivery
framework encapsulating policy, processes and procedures.
Develop and maintain standardized delivery documentation and
deliverables for client solution implementation and ongoing
Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term MSSP growth
strategies and serve as a strategic security advisor across the

unhappy or difficult customers in time sensitive situations.
Serve as the security Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for
pre-sales opportunities including scoping calls and onsite
presentations as needed.
Partner with internal sales and marketing teams to drive a
cohesive growth plan and go-to-market strategy.
Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of
Dataprise's solutions and managed services offerings.
Direct communication and dissemination of information security
standards and advise company regarding internal or external data
Select and manage 3rd party security vendors; ensuring the
vendors are performing their roles and meeting their obligations
and our expectations.
Partner with other internal teams as needed to establish the
necessary security standards and protocols are developed into
on-premise, cloud and third-party solutions.
5+ years of related experience, ideally working for a MSSP
(Managed Security Services Provider) or IT Managed Services
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred,
Experience in managing Cyber Security across a diverse set of
geographies, lines of business, threat environments, regulatory
schemes, and contractual requirements.
Current security certifications, including CISSP, CISA, CISM are
Understanding of the different Security frameworks and
Demonstrated experience in providing Cyber Security services and
developing solutions to address client current and future
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal,
business management, time management, and developmental skills.
Ability to implement processes and tools to improve operational
efficiencies and provide reliable metrics to track delivery
Capability to establish and maintain effective working
The ability to focus on the “big picture” while also being
detailed oriented and task driven.
Understanding of profits & loss and how to increase efficiencies
(profit) through technology, tools, and processes, including the
ability to manage an operating budget.
