Upscale Brand Operations Performance Support (BOPS) Director The
Director, Brand Operations Performance Support (BOPS) is charged
with the oversight and driving performance results of assigned
Cambria hotels. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand
Operations and Performance Support, The BOPS will drive continuous
improvement and action planning within their assigned portfolios to
maximize hotel results and achieve premium quality and service
levels. Success metrics will be measured by performance gains,
enhanced guest satisfaction and increased Brand compliance in
As the leader for your portfolio, the Director, BOPS will ensure
targeted and effective resource deployment and support for
individual hotels to drive profitability and deliver results.
Through frequent, aggressive engagement on-property with the Hotel
Leadership and through effective relationships with above property
Management Company representatives and Owner Operators.
This position serves as the linchpin for communications with
hotel leadership teams and the corporate office and will
continuously track market and competition trends while seeking
realistic strategies for property and overall portfolio revenue and
guest satisfaction improvement.
The Director, BOPS will provide support, guidance and mentoring
to the General Managers/Hotel Managers within their assigned
properties, and will lend professional expertise to all operating
departments to ensure that financial performance is optimized, and
that quality and service levels are achieved as established by
Company and brand standards. Facilitate continuous improvement
action planning to help generate incremental top-line revenues and
guest satisfaction. Be accountable for achieving personal and team
objectives. Take initiative to identify and proactively communicate
potential portfolio retention risks. Demonstrate proficiency in use
and coaching of proprietary and industry technologies. Possess
significant property and above-property-level hotel operations,
finance, and sales/marketing experience.
Skills, Education, Background, and Experience:
Extensive corporate level, multi-unit hotel operations
management and sales support required
Requires minimum of five to seven years’ multi, above property
experience bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business or a related
field of study,
Demonstrated financial acumen with significant past P&L
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with all proprietary
systems and industry related support technologies
Significant experience with oversight of branded, Upscale
Recent experience with a major management company or Brand
Managed portfolio oversight role is strongly desired.
Exceptional service orientation, with keen ability to focus and
deliver on guest needs.
Reliable and responsible character, with exceptional follow up
and attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills in supporting employees to consistently
attain personal, departmental and organizational performance
Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and
problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest levels of
productivity and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively as an independent contributor, and

Ability to convey and apply revenue management principles and

franchise industry savvy, and proven track record in driving hotel
Must have strong training, consulting, and persuasion skills
Must be fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to balance multiple
project support requests beyond ongoing portfolio support
Must thrive on exceeding goals and meeting deadlines
Extensive overnight travel required (approx. 90%)
