Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team.
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the Transportation
Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have
strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and
the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in
the organization. Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Location:
Gettysburg, PA Pay Range: $24 to $26 Day shift: Open to work hours
between 9am-8pm What's the Job? Coordinate domestic and
international shipments to ensure efficient and timely flow of
products to our customers, factories, and distribution centers.
Assign nightly domestic shipping work assignments and schedule
outbound truckload shipments. Prepare airway bills or bill of
ladings for shipments and coordinate pickups for LTL shipments.
Maintain all import and export files and provide necessary
paperwork for US Customs clearance. Audit freight invoices to
ensure carrier charges are in accordance with contracts and current
tariff schedules. What's Needed? Associate degree in Business or
Administration. Three (3) years of clerical experience in a
fast-paced work environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and
experience with Transportation Management. Knowledge of freight
tariffs, rates, and regulations governing domestic and
international transportation. Experience with SAP, BPICS, WMS
software programs, and processing DHL, UPS, and FedEx export
