must reside within 1 hour of Harrisburg, PA Job Overview The
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Project Manager /
Project Portfolio Manager to support PMO and enterprise
initiatives. This role requires strong experience in project
management, data analysis, ServiceNow, and consulting within
government environments . The candidate will work closely with
executive-level stakeholders, provide strategic guidance, and
mentor agency personnel while driving successful project and
portfolio outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage
enterprise-level projects and project portfolios Consult with
executive stakeholders to define business needs and technical
solutions Conduct research, studies, surveys, audits, and data
analysis Analyze findings and recommend process improvements,
system integrations, or alternative solutions Provide mentoring and
guidance to agency staff and leadership Apply PM methodologies
(PMBOK, Waterfall, Kanban) to ensure delivery and governance
Support reporting and analysis using ServiceNow and Microsoft
Office tools Required Skills & Experience 10 years of Project
Management experience Strong experience in data analysis and
reporting Strong knowledge of PMBOK methodologies (Waterfall or
Kanban preferred) Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Proficiency
in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience providing consulting
services to governmental entities Strong attention to detail,
leadership, assertiveness, and self-motivation Ability to work
independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications PMP
or CAPM certification (highly desired, not required) Experience in
systems integration and project portfolio management Flexible work
from home options available.
