This position will be part of a team working on DocuSign's Platform that's responsible for high scale and low latency service. The service will deliver a No-Code Business Process Automation framework that allows administrators or delegates to build agreement management workflows without having to have any coding experience. This position will demand critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position. • Perform development tasks as key contributor by consistently delivering complex engineering projects
• Articulate clear software engineering strategies, plans, goals and objectives across multiple Engineering domains, projects and teams, including cross-functional partners
• Guide and mentor other engineers through all facets of engineering and product building
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the teams productivity and efficiency
• Stay current with the latest development best frontend practices and share your findings with the team
• Take full ownership of some of our components, from development to testing to performance tuning
• Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
• Research new features and technologies
• Deliver on the most complex and foundational layers of design
• Share and adopt best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional area
• Collaborate with the UX organization and participate in design reviewsJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required.   • 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or a PhD, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Front end technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience working with Designers and Usability Researchers
  • Experience making improvements to existing large code base
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems
  • Fluency in English both verbal and writtenPreferred
    • Passion for new technologies
    • Experience working for a SaaS company
    • Experience building React component libraries used across multiple projects
    • Deep knowledge of HTML and CSS and how the web works
    • Experience working independently and in team environment as needed
    • A track record of being a self-starter - Individual and team responsibility is our main driver in the development work
    • Practical experience with Cloud technologies: Azure, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.
    • Focus on writing high quality code that is easy to maintain and read by others
    • Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologiesWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:
      • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
