Cannot work outside the continental US.Contract to hireDescription:Summary: The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) to support business requirements.Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive mannerQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required8+ years experience required
  • Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end
  • Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLCEssential Job Functions:--- As part of a group, review and analyze process, system and/or data requirements and specifications.--- Review and contribute to component designs for a project, product and/or program.--- Build, test, deploy, and document software components of a project, product, and/or program level solution.--- Interface with other team members and other teams in peer review of requirements, specifications and software.--- Document and communicate development status in a timely manner.--- Participate in the collaborative resolution of defects.--- Participate in internal process improvement initiatives. Provide feedback on processes by offering suggestions.--- Assist with adherence to technology policies and comply with all security controls.--- Ensure all work products meets/exceeds FINRA standards.Education/Experience Requirements:--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least two (2) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.--- Demonstrated technical expertise in Object Oriented and database technologies/concepts which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutions.--- Past experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment.--- Broad knowledge of industry leading software engineering approaches including Test Automation, Build Automation and Configuration Management frameworks.--- Emerging written and verbal technical communication skills.--- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships that improved the quality of work products.--- Should be well organized, thorough, and able to handle competing priorities.--- Ability to maintain focus and develop proficiency in new skills rapidly.--- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.--- Knowledge of Python programming language required.--- Strong SQL and data analysis skills required.--- Past experience with Git or Subversion.--- Demonstrated proficiency with Linux systems.--- Familiarity with AWS preferred.Be a part of the ConsultNet difference.
