Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer for one of our premier clients in the Rockville, MD area for a long term contract role. As our employee, you qualify for our full benefit package.

Basic Qualifications:

• Software development experience and proficiency in C++ and Linux
• Familiar with network protocols, packets forwarding concepts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Desired Skills:
  • Experience in requirements definitions
  • Familiar with Interface Control Document (ICD) definitions
  • Experience in developing software in satellite communication domain and a good understanding of the related software architecture Job Requirements:
    • No clearance needed to start, but have the willingness and ability to get "Secret Clearance " sponsored by the client.
    • US Citizen Education:
      • Candidate must have:
        • B.S.+ 5 yrs of relevant experience
        • M.S.+ 3 yrs of relevant experience
        • PHD (no experience needed)
