Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in Rockville, MDRESPONSIBILITIES:We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to join our fast-paced development effort and contribute to the success of a very challenging and rewarding mission.Typical Agile responsibilities include participation in daily scrums, sprint/release planning, demos, and retrospectives. Development responsibilities include software design, code and unit test, investigation into ad-hoc issues, and the ability to analyze and resolve complex mission problems quickly and independently.The successful candidate will have a commendable work ethic, good communication skills, a great attitude, be a results-oriented team player, creative thinker and problem-solver, and follow all ethical standards.REQUIREMENTS:Basic Qualifications:---C/C++ proficiency---Linux Experience---Background in networking and TCP/IPDesired Skills:---Experience with embedded systems and designing & developing software that interacts with hardware---Experience in Agile development---Automate testing and command execution using a scripting language (e.g. Python, Shell Script, etc)EDUCATION:BS+6-10 YRS or MS+4-8 YRSSHIFT:4/10-1st ShiftMISCELLANEOUS:Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
