Senior Software Engineer (Java)Location: Anyone of our client's 15 locationsContract to Hire, Long term Contract -Job Description: -Our client is a national regulatory body that governs the U.S. Stock and Bond Markets. - They are currently looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer who has hands on experience building custom applications. - Our client is truly looking for someone with a "full stack" background that comprises of skills on the back end, front end and some testing/DevOps. - Very modern tech environment and heavy users of the AWS cloud and it's latest and greatest offerings. -Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong Java/OOP programming background
• Experience in structuring design patterns
• Can speak to system architecture of the application they have worked - on
• Good experience with languages like NodeJS and/or Angular
• Experienced with Full stack development
• Experienced developing using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, NodeJS, JPA, Hibernate, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery
• Experienced developing in AWS cloud environment.(e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS Postgres, RDS MSSQL)
• Experienced with repository and project tracking systems (e.g, Git, Bitbucket, Jira)
• Experienced creating unit tests using JUnit.
• Strong understanding of pipeline development and orchestration.
• Experienced with CD\CI process. -Qualifications:
  • Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least two (2) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Object Oriented and database technologies/concepts which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutions
  • Past experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment
  • Broad knowledge of industry leading software engineering approaches including Test Automation, Build Automation and Configuration Management frameworks
  • Emerging written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Ability to maintain focus and develop proficiency in new skills rapidly
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environmentResponsibilities:
    • The Developer works under general supervision and will develop, test, debug and document software components commensurate with their experience under the supervision of more senior development staff in support of a software engineering effort
    • Essential Job Functions: As part of a group, review and analyze process, system and/or data requirements and specifications
    • Review and contribute to component designs for a project, product and/or program
    • Build, test, deploy, and document software components of a project, product, and/or program level solution
    • Interface with other team members and other teams in peer review of requirements, specifications and software
    • Document and communicate development status in a timely manner
    • Participate in the collaborative resolution of defects
    • Participate in internal process improvement initiative
    • Provide feedback on processes by offering suggestions
