**The Role At A Glance**

The Life Client Solutions (LCS) Technical Specialist serves as a single point of contact between Life Customer Service stakeholders and their external partners in Business Technology Optimization, Information Technology, and New Product. This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

**What you'll be doing**

Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Applies knowledge to provides a holistic view of LCS products and processes, understanding how they all fit together, and how their performance drives service level agreement (SLA) adherence.

Collaborates with the Life Compliance Department as required in support of complaint research and resolution; supports LCS Leadership as required through the process of issue statement and impact assessment creation

Serves as a specialist as needed in the BWR discussion, coordinates meetings with IT and Business & Technology Optimization (BTO) areas to promote a better understanding of what is required to address certain complaints & make system changes

Serves as a point of contact for LCS forms management, and coordinates with the Digital team posting information to websites.

Provides support to the third party administrator management process as required.

Serves as a single point of contact for BTO and IT on all BWR activity, reviewing each in light of people, process, and technology prior to submission to BTO.

Engages, gathers and validates from LCS stakeholders information to present during the Individual Life New Product process.

Serves as a contact point for system changes and enhancements by participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Employs negotiation techniques to facilitate win-win outcomes by reducing risk mitigation through improved day one and day two quality on BWRs through a better communication process with one point of contact in LCS.

Leverages knowledge to the LCS Leadership Team or functional partners on projects.

Partners with the appropriate LCS department and uses knowledge to resolve routine issues for escalations, and issues posed by customers and distribution partners and determines the best course of action

Communicates to LCS Leadership team the status of various projects.

**What we're looking for**

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)

1 - 3+ Years Experience in the financial services industry and customer service experience. Knowledge of Lincoln products and systems preferred. (Required)
