Experience Coordinator is responsible for assisting with a broad
range of human resource and administrative tasks to ensure a
positive employee experience at MOM's Organic Market. This position
acts as a liaison between employees and the Employee Experience
Department and is key to the success of daily business operations
and supporting company culture. This position is located in-office
4 days a week (with 1 day remote) at our Central Store Support
office (Rockville, MD).
Some Responsibilities Include:
- Provide an exceptional new-hire experience and complete
onboarding/offboarding steps in a timely manner.
- Collect, file and maintain I-9 documents and reports.
- Keep HR systems (ex. Dayforce, Catapult, Jobvite), employee
records and MOM's employee files up to date by processing employee
changes, approving/processing forms and ensuring correct documents
are received/filed. -
- Assist with monthly HR reporting and related communication,
send reports and reminders to store ops/stakeholders.
- Answer straightforward employee safety questions and escalate
as needed. Ensure safety inspections are collected on a monthly
basis.
- Respond to day-to-day employee questions (within 24-48 hours)
via phone, email, chat systems, Zendesk and promptly fulfill
requests.
- Respond to unemployment claims, employment verifications, file
worker's compensation and customer incidents (and all related
documents, appeals and reports).
- Perform other general HR and administrative tasks including
phone coverage, scheduling meetings, scanning, collecting and
filing documents (including HR mail), ordering lunch and booking
conference rooms.
- Assist HR Team with compliance efforts such as sending labor
law posters & performing related research. -
- Follow checklists to ensure all tasks are completed
accurately.
- Ensure that internal HR checklists stay up to date for all
related responsibilities.
- Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost
confidentiality and discretion.
- Participate as needed in other department tasks and projects
such as performing HR audits. Requirements:
- 1+ years' HR and/or office related experience
- Experience with Google Suite & Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication
(written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
- Fluency in Spanish (oral and written)
- Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage
unexpected demands
- Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve
problems
- Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and
confidential information
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the HR field
