Position: Junior Recruiter

Location: Rockville, MD



SPS Consulting is looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking Junior Recruiter. The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for assisting with the full cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and making job offers. The successful candidate will be passionate about recruiting, organized, and have excellent communication skills.



Junior Recruiter Responsibilities:



Assist with sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals
Screen resumes and applications to determine which candidates meet the minimum qualifications
Updating company website, social media, LinkedIn, and Search Engine Optimization
Conduct phone interviews and provide feedback to hiring managers
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
Assist with drafting job descriptions and job postings
Conduct reference checks and background checks on candidates
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Attend recruiting events and job fairs



Junior Recruiter Requirements:



Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be able to keep a calendar, schedule appointments, multitask, and manage competing priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
