subspecialties. Together, we serve approximately 800,000 Kaiser

Columbia at 34 area medical centers, plus several community
hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.Job Summary:We are seeking
a Physician Recruiter to join our Physician Recruitment team at
Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG). The Physician
Recruiter will develop and implement effective physician recruiting
strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable
talent for the organization. The Physician Recruiter works closely
with candidates and leads, guides and supports Physicians-in-Chief,
Service Chiefs, and Module Leads throughout the recruitment
cycle.Responsibilities:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the
recruitment process
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting
methods and strategies based on the candidate market, , industry
standards, and the needs of MAPMG clinical operations
- Conducts intake meetings with hiring managers as needed for new
requirements
- Screens and selects qualified candidates for hiring
managers
- Prepares interview questions and other hiring and selection
materials
- Coordinates with administrative and support staff to schedule
candidate interviews
- Conducts and attends interviews with hiring managers and other
stakeholders as necessary
- Collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer process
by identifying hiring incentives, start dates, and other pertinent
details
- Attends and participates in nationwide physician recruitment
events and/or medical meetings for all assigned specialties or as
needed
- Sources and screens candidates who are a clinical and cultural
fit for the organization
- Delivers a concise, compelling presentation of the advantages
of MAPMG's integrated health care delivery model to physician
candidates
- Serves as a true business partner who implements recruitment
plans that support the overall mission of MAPMG
- Identifies and implements the best recruitment activities
(websites, conferences, journal advertising, direct candidate
sourcing, social media) for each medical specialty
- Proactively conducts research and investigates innovative ways
to source candidates
- Builds and maintains proactive relationships with colleges,
residency programs, professional associations, and candidates to
create a pipeline of talent for positions within the assigned
client groups
- Regularly meets with internal stakeholders to discuss all
recruitment needs and the status of open positions and candidate
pipelines
- Facilitates an exceptional candidate experience
- Maintains timely and accurate candidate records in applicant
tracking system.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment
laws and regulations, and company policies
- Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and
hiring process
- Previous experience in health care recruitment is strongly
preferred
- CPRP Certification strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation
tactics
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for
recruitment for a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take
initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices
applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn
applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to travel to multiple medical centers in the
Mid-Atlantic area is required.
