Description The Catering manager oversees the planning, execution, and logistical coordination of food and beverage services for events, ensuring high quality service and client satisfaction. In addition to these duties the catering manager will also take on the duties of assisting the Director of Food Services on daily operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Consult with clients to define event requirements, including menu and budget constraints. Coordinate with the Director of Food Services to develop menus, and banquet set-ups. Serve as banquet captain during events. Act as the communication liaison for the kitchen and other departments. Relaying information in a timely and accurate fashion. Oversee usage of the computerized enrollment system for the Upper School Lunch Program and use of stickers. Work closely with parents and faculty on discussions of lunch preferences to ensure a successful lunch program. Oversee kitchen operations when the Director of Food Services is absent. Liaison with EZ school apps. Other duties as assigned Director of Food Services. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2-4 years of experience. Beneficial if certified by the Vaad of Washington.
