About the Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear
Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a
multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and
administer radioactive radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation
detection and imaging equipment, perform patient imaging
procedures, follow radiation safety protocols, and document
procedures and patient data according to facility and regulatory
standards. Minimum Requirements An associate or bachelor’s degree
in nuclear medicine technology or related allied health field.
Active state license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
in MD or ability to obtain prior to start. American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine
or equivalent credential. BLS certification from an approved
provider. Minimum 2 years of experience as a nuclear medicine
technologist in an outpatient or hospital imaging environment.
Experience with SPECT and planar nuclear medicine imaging and
routine radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration. Client
requirement: familiarity with outpatient scheduling workflows and
ability to manage a moderate patient volume. Preferred: experience
with PET procedures, hybrid SPECT/CT systems, or experience in an
outpatient imaging center. Assignment Details Facility type:
Outpatient imaging center. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 6:30 AM–5:00
PM. Work days: Tuesday through Friday. May be required to float to
other facilities within the client network as needed. Location
