PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital recovery care, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is pivotal in assisting patients who are recovering from surgery, injury, or illness to regain their respiratory function and overall independence. As a Respiratory Therapist at PowerBack Rehabilitation, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology and collaborate closely with a skilled team to provide customized respiratory therapy according to each patient's specific needs. Assess and evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, taking into account their medical history. Develop and implement targeted treatment plans that suit individual patient needs and recovery goals. Operate and manage various types of respiratory care equipment including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices. Educate patients and their families on lung health and maintenance techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Ensure strict compliance with all safety and infection control standards. In-depth knowledge of respiratory care practices and equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent patient interaction skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly Capable of handling stressful situations and making critical decisions Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid and active Respiratory Therapist License Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
