Job Description:

seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team of
healthcare professionals. As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass
Health Mechanicsburg, you will provide expert therapy to patients
with various speech, language, and swallowing disorders, utilizing
evidence-based practices to improve their communication abilities
and quality of life. You will work collaboratively with a
multidisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive
treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each
patient. Assess and diagnose patients with speech, language, voice,
and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based
practices. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting
treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and family members
about communication and swallowing strategies. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in continued education and professional development
opportunities to stay current with the latest practices and
technologies. Expert knowledge of speech-language pathology Ability
to develop and implement effective treatment plans Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in documentation
and patient record management Skillful in utilizing various speech
