Assess and diagnose disorders related to speech, language,
cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans for patients Educate
family members and caregivers on intervention strategies Maintain
accurate records and document patient progress Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Participate in continued education to remain current with industry
standards and technologies Strong interpersonal and communication
skills Ability to assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing
disorders Skilled in the use of diagnostic technologies and
therapeutic interventions Capacity to develop and follow through
with individualized care plans Valid state licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
