oxygen, manage ventilators, and administer drugs to the lungs. Perm
Placement: Respiratory Therapy Job Description • Must Have
Skills/Experience: RT on staff will be the backup for intubations –
training will be provided onsite, the chosen RT will be the only RT
on shift • Preferred Skillset/Experience: None • Type of Patients
on Unit: primarily adults, ED patients, Surgical; rehab; imaging;
heart & vascular; ortho; emergency Qualifications • Required
Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
required, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - American Heart
'Healthcare Provider (HCP) - AHA approved required*, ACLS (Advanced
Cardiac Life Support) Certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course
required National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified
Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist
(RRT) required and VA License. *New hires must have American Heart
Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to the completion
of orientation • Years of Experience: 3 years • Float Requirements:
