Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,003 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21218! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU/Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. PCU/Stepdown/IMC/Tele/Cardiac Tele experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Float to IMC/MS/Tele is required. Every third weekend is required. Description: The position is for a PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse. The candidate must have experience with PCU/Stepdown/IMC/Telemetry and cardiac telemetry. The role involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates will manage various patient conditions, including CHF, CAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-operative care for cardiac and vascular procedures. Skills required include feeding tube care, hemodialysis management, central line management, phlebotomy, IV initiation and management, telemetry monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias. The candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. The daily patient census is approximately 10, with a patient care ratio of 3-4. The unit has 18 beds dedicated to patient care.
