Job Description:
Tender Touch Rehab Services is currently seeking a compassionate
and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Our mission is to provide top-notch rehabilitation therapy
services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy,
tailored to the specific needs of our clients across various
healthcare facilities. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will
work closely under the supervision of our Physical Therapists to
implement therapeutic plans that help patients regain their optimal
functional abilities. This position offers you the opportunity to
make a significant impact in the lives of patients while working in
a supportive and professionally fulfilling environment. Assist
Physical Therapists in the administration of interventions and
therapeutic exercises outlined in treatment plans. Document patient
responses to therapy and report outcomes to the supervising
therapist. Help in the setup of therapy equipment and preparation
of the therapy environment. Educate patients and their families
about treatment plans, exercises, and maintaining achievements
post-therapy. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space.
Comply with all legal and safety requirements at all times. Strong
understanding of therapy principles, methods, and procedures for
rehabilitation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively.
Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and technology. Capacity
to handle physical demands of the role, providing support and
physical assistance to patients as needed. 401k Valid state license
as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). CPR/BLS Certification.
