Job Title: Cath Lab/IR Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: State licensed Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or RCIS if applicable) Must-Have: Strong cath lab experience Ability to work in IR Previous charge experience is preferred Description: CATH LAB/IR TECH 10-HOUR DAYS. This position has the potential for auto offer with manager interview if necessary. Strict no-tobacco policy in effect. Candidates who utilize any form of nicotine will be automatically canceled if they fail the drug screen. Position: CATH LAB/IR TECH. Patient ratios of 8-12 cases. Weekend call required; one full weekend per month. On-call requirements include 15 shifts per month. STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation. Two-hour call back guaranteed. No floating to other units required. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Experience with elective caths (diagnostic and interventional), RHC, STEMI, IABP, and pacemakers is needed. Ideal candidates will have angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, and pacemaker insertion skills. Must maintain a sterile field while scrubbing. Neuro intervention experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals as necessary. A strict no-tobacco facility with a nicotine drug screen in place. Positive nicotine tests will lead to cancellation of the offer.
