Job Title: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Strong cath lab experience - Ability to work in interventional radiology - Skills in angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and maintaining a sterile field - Experience in neuro intervention is a plus Description: This position is for a Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech for a day shift, working 10-hour shifts. The role requires the ability to manage an 8-12 patient ratio. Weekend call is required, with one full weekend per month. On-call responsibilities are included, with 15 shifts per month. The technician must respond within 30 minutes of activation for STEMI calls, with a guaranteed 2-hour call back. Candidates should have a strong background in elective cath procedures, including both diagnostic and interventional cases. The successful candidate will work with various patient age groups, including adults and geriatrics. Experience with charting systems is preferable. The position involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams and various medical personnel. A strict no-tobacco policy is enforced, and testing for nicotine and cotinine is mandatory. Positive nicotine tests will result in cancellation of the position.
