ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rockville, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab / IR Tech - Day Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day 4x10-Hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month. Job Description The Cath Lab / IR Tech is responsible for performing various cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will maintain a sterile field, assist in patient care, and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly. Candidates must have extensive cath lab experience and be familiar with trauma level I procedures. Responsibilities - Perform elective catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional. - Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasty and stent placements. - Participate in temporary pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming. - Conduct electrophysiology studies. - Maintain a sterile working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Respond promptly to STEMI calls and be part of the STEMI call team. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - 3 years of cath lab experience required. - Trauma Level I experience required. - Certification in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT required; RCIS accepted with IR experience. - State licensure required.
