Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a Level II Trauma acute care setting, requiring 2 years of experience and specialized certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) lab in an acute care hospital - Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Patient caseload ranges from 8 to 12 - Level II Trauma facility with 360 staffed beds - Weekend call required one full weekend per month - On-call required 7-10 days per month, with 30 minute STEMI call response time - Floating to affiliate hospitals as needed - Uses Cerner and McKesson charting systems - Scrubs are provided - Modules are completed during orientation and annually via the Relias/Net Learning portal - No block scheduling available - Parking is free for staff in designated garage levels - Return staff must not have been employed within the past year - Two supervisor references required for consideration - Positive nicotine test will result in cancellation - Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital - STEMI call team must meet a 2-hour call back guarantee /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab or IR Technologist - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Either ARRT with state license or RCIS certification required (license required if applicable) - Must have IR experience if RCIS certified - Ability to respond to STEMI call within 30 minutes - Strict no-tobacco use policy with nicotine and cotinine drug screening - Must provide valid state license at time of consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-637965.
