Pediatric Nursing Certification Board Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Certification Services Specialist to join our team at the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. As a key member of our Certification Services Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful navigation of our certification programs by stakeholders, including candidates, certificants, and employers.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance to certificants and candidates through the certification and recertification processes.
• Process requests, such as verifications, name changes, and address updates, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with monitoring certificant compliance related to recertification policies.
• Process candidate exam applications, including issuing eligibility information and transferring data to test delivery vendors.
• Audit exam applications for compliance.
• Manage name changes, adding ADA accommodations, verifying exam forms, and exam extensions, and verifying exam appointments have been canceled with PNCB testing vendors.
• Participate in the organization's overall quality review process.
• Respond to email inquiries on certification and recertification from various public email boxes.
• Assist with managing mail and special deliveries to/from the organization, including receiving, posting, and distributing mail, freight, and special deliveries, including UPS and FEDEX. Maintain records as needed.
• Responsible for training and cross-training with colleagues to ensure uninterrupted service, quality, and delivery of PNCB products to customers.Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to professionally interact with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a high-level attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and proofreading skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Email)Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3 years of certification experience preferred in a similar industry.Work Environment:PNCB operates on a hybrid schedule. Staff work in the Rockville, MD office 1 day per week and remotely 4 days per week subject to change based upon organizational needs. Employees are responsible for maintaining a remote environment conducive to conducting business with their own reliable, secure internet. PNCB provides all other equipment.
