Job Summary:

• Autonomously plans, delivers and assesses patient care within scope of practice utilizing evidence-based practices
• Develops and implements a plan of care based on patient needs identified through nursing assessment, patient family input and physician orders.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
• Evaluates effectiveness of care plan and adjusts plan as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Establishes a compassionate environment in which patients and families are cared for with empathy and respect.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals, ancillary services and insurance providers to support patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research studies.
• Maintains educational requirements and clinical competency Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting
  • Current RN license in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association for North Naples Campus and must be acquired within first 90 days.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
