This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.We are currently seeking candidates for a full time Embryology Laboratory Assistant to work in our fast paced, high volume, Embryology Lab located at our Rockville, MD office. The flexible schedule is working Monday to Friday from 6:30 am - 3:30 pm. No weekend requirementHow You'll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Embryology Lab Assistant is responsible for:Identification, assessment and culture of oocytesSperm preparation and insemination of oocytesEmbryo freezing, storage and thawingMedia preparationPreparation of IVF instruments and glasswareWhat You'll Bring:The skills and education we need are:Candidates should have a minimum of one year clinical/research laboratory experience.Training is provided but clinical/research laboratory experience preferredTissue culture experience a plus.A great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining laboratory experience and exposure to a successful fertility practice.More important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
