The University of Hawai'i at M--noa, Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health, Department of Social Work invites applications for two (2) tenure-track Assistant Professor positions (position # 0070174 and 0082612) to begin August 2023. The mission of the Department of Social Work is to provide educational excellence that advances social work with its focus on social justice. The principal responsibility is the generation, transmission, and application of knowledge for the global enterprise with special attention to Native Hawaiian, other Pacific Islander, and Asian populations in our state and region. We offer three programs (BSW, MSW, PhD) that prepare undergraduate and graduate students to be educated global citizens who advance social justice. With Hawai'i being one of the most racially/ethnically diverse states in the United States, our unique focus is on resolving problems and building resiliency in a culturally diverse world.
