The Katherine Thomas High School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD, located in the Washington, DC Metro Area, has an opportunity for a Full-Time 10/11 month Speech Language Pathologist. KTHS services students in grades 9-12 with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or high functioning autism.

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language and autism.

Required Experience:

Required Experience for the Speech Language Pathologist:

Maryland Speech License
Master's in Speech Pathology or equivalent program
Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and Social Thinking is a plus

As a condition of employment, all new hires are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated.
