Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Coordinator of Delinquent
Medical Records who will embrace our mission to extend God's care
through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Coordinator of Delinquent Medical Records you will:
--- Sends deficiency/delinquent letters regarding incomplete
medical records of discharged patients to physicians.
--- Works closely with informatics and/or system administrator and
other staff in regards to the EHR (electronic health record)
--- Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all
--- Maintains patient confidence by keeping patient records
--- Assigning and recording new record numbers.
--- High school graduate or GED; Associate or Bachelor's Degree in
Health Information Management (HIM) preferred
--- 1 year experience in healthcare field
--- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred
--- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
--- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), computer
keyboard, data entry, and business machinery
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
