As a Child Psychologist, Program Lead you will have two main responsibilities: one, conducting child Autism diagnostic evaluations, evaluating results, and delivering treatment recommendations to families; and, two, developing and leading a clinically excellent diagnostic department within an established, well respected Autism service provider.

    Essential FunctionsClinical Responsibilities: Selects, administers, scores, and interprets psychological tests and complete psychological assessments. Conduct diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessments (e.g. ADOS-2) for autism and differential diagnosis. Develop and deliver appropriate, individualized treatment recommendations to families. Provide high-quality and efficient clinical services and reports. Participate in the continuity of care for children evaluated and diagnosed. Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary clinical team.Program Development: Define, develop, and constantly improve the diagnostic department within the organization in collaboration with leadership. Lead the newly created diagnostic department. Hire, train, and manage team of psychology associates to administer diagnostic testing. Monitor supervision documentation for all psychology associates:o Provide training on APA supervision requirements, procedures, and/or methods as assigned by Clinical Leadership.o Maintain APA supervision forms in an organized, shared location as directed by Clinical Leadership and in accordance with APA standards.o Random audits of experience trackers and monthly signed supervision forms to ensure accuracy.o Review of supervisor progress monitoring and data collection.o Final audit of supervision forms and permanent products prior to signing final verification forms. Stay up to date on current APA & payer task lists, ethical codes, guidelines, and requirements.Collaboration Execute training strategies and initiatives as defined in collaboration with Clinical Leadership to train the Behavior Analyst clinical team. Additional opportunities are available based on a candidates interest and experience. This could include providing offering post-diagnosis processing groups, research projects, community outreach, and supervision of trainees, and parent coaching.     Knowledge, Skills, Experience Doctorate in clinical psychology with experience in Autism Assessment and Diagnosis State license or eligibility 3 years clinical experience required, which may include internships, externships, or fellowships Experience with diverse population preferred Certification in good standing and appropriate State licensure. Proven experience organizing and managing employee training. Knowledge of the behavioral health industry and terms. Demonstrated ability to design and implement best practices related to training. In-depth human resources management knowledge. Proficient knowledge of computer systems including Excel and Word. Knowledge of industry regulations. Experience administering Autism specific assessment screeners and diagnostic tools (ADOS, ADI-R, CARS, CARS-2, Vineland, SRS, M-Chat, CBCL, BOSA, SAND, SEQ, ADI-R ).
    Work Environment, Physical Conditions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work 40+ hours per week. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Must comply with practice policies and procedures. Requires regular in-office schedule. Physical activities include standing for long periods of time, sitting for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling. Must be able to reach, pull, and push.
