How You'll ContributeThe Finance team is a valued thought
partner at the forefront of decision making, providing timely and
accurate financial information, deriving meaningful insights from
data, and empowering the organization with innovative solutions
that are agile and nimble to grow and adapt quickly to change.This
role will work closely with various shared service functions
including A/R, A/P, and Cash Operations to ensure integration of
shared services across the organization. Additional
responsibilities include developing metrics, driving process
improvements, and participating in projects. The role also involves
partnering with internal teams as a trusted partner, contributing
to strategic initiatives and key cross-functional projects. The
Shared Service Manager will report to the VP, Shared Services &
Risk Management.Your ImpactResponsibilities Include
- Foster strong relationships within Finance and with business
partners to align on needs, particularly related to new revenue
streams and public space initiatives, while identifying
opportunities for technology-driven process improvements. Monitor
operational metrics across cash operations, accounts receivable,
and accounts payable, ensuring compliance with internal controls
and company policies and procedures (25%).
- Monitor department's email and ticketing system, liaise with
internal and external customers to resolve inquiries, and work with
the team to ensure adequate coverage and support to maintain
continuity and efficiency (25%).
- Assist with support system upgrades and new releases by helping
with testing and communication rollouts for the team (25%).
- Support the VP of Shared Services and Risk Management in
planning and executing departmental projects. Help prioritize
system enhancements and drive continuous improvements in efficiency
and customer experience (25%).What You'll BringMinimum Education &
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business, or
relevant work experience.Minimum Years and Type of Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in operational accounting
responsibilities, with 3+ years of management experience.
- Experience and understanding of A/R, A/P, and Cash/Revenue
functions are essential.Necessary Knowledge and Skills
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and resolve
issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills, capable
of in-depth research, account analysis, and reconciliation.
- Motivated, dependable, and able to work with limited
supervision.
- Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet
deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication
skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply rules and procedures.
- Integrity and confidentiality are essential.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting is highly
desirable.Supervision2 direct reportsSalary RangeThe salary range
for this position is $98,800 - $104,000, complemented by a
comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision,
retirement plans, paid time off, and more.Job DesignationHybrid -
Employees are expected to work at Base Camp two days a week,
typically Tuesday and Wednesday, with flexibility for additional
